Lemonade with mint

Wash the lemon and lime.

In a bowl, squeeze the whole lemon and half of the lime.

We cut the other half of the lime and lemon into small slices.

Over these, put plain water, Green Sugar sweetener and mix until the latter is completely melted. Add a sweetener to taste, depending on how sweet you like the lemonade to be.

If you do not like the sweetener you can replace it with honey, sugar or something else. I also prepared it with dandelion syrup and it was a delight.

Wash the mint leaves, put them in lemonade.

Mix everything well and let it cool for 30 minutes.

We take it out of the cold, put it in glasses and serve.


Strawberry and mint lemonade cooks in just 10 minutes. Here are the steps you need to follow to get it strawberry and mint lemonade:

1. Mix the two glasses of water with the sugar in a saucepan over low heat until the sugar granules melt. Pull the pan aside and let the syrup cool.

2. Wash the lemon well and cut it into slices.

  • vodka - 50 ml
  • lemonade uludag - 150 ml
  • blue curacao - the teaspoon
  • cherry syrup - 20 ml
  • fresh mint 3-4 leaves
  • lime (lime) - 1/4 piece
  • ice - a few cubes

We throw the slice of lime in the glass and over it the mint leaves, we grind them in a mortar, to combine the mint aroma with the lime juice, we put ice on it and we add 50 ml of vodka and Uludag lemonade. Until then it will be yellow, then we add a teaspoon of blue curaçao, which will give it the green-blue color and slowly drain the cherry syrup on the inside edge of the glass… so we will have three colors in the glass, until we want to we enjoy it) Because we will have to mix everything)


Two lemonade recipes: with mint and red basil!

Today we want to offer you 2 recipes of invigorating lemonade, prepared with mint and red basil! Especially on hot summer days these delicious, refreshing and vitamin drinks will quench your thirst excellently! They do not contain flavorings, dyes and preservatives, which means that they are safe and can be consumed by both adults and children!

INGREDIENT:

-100 g of aromatic herb (mint, basil or tarragon).

METHOD OF PREPARATION:

1. Pour 2 liters of water into 2 saucepans and put them on the fire. Add 250 g of sugar to each of them, then mix and bring the sweet solutions to the boil.

Using this proportion, you will get a concentrated drink. If you want to prepare a more diluted one, pour 3 liters of water into the pan.

2. Meanwhile, prepare the other ingredients: wash the lemons and herbs (we used 2 lemons and 100 g of greens (mint or red basil) for each type of lemonade).

3.Cut the lemons into slices.

4. Then pass the lemons and herbs (with stems) through the meat grinder: 2 lemons and mint for the first lemonade, then 2 lemons and basil for the second lemonade.

5. Transfer the composition of lemon and mint in the first pan, and the one of lemon and basil - in the other. Stir. Bring the lemonade to the boil and turn off the heat immediately.

6. Allow them to cool completely. Then you can put them in the fridge or put them in pots with ice-cold water to speed up the cooling process.

7. Strain the lemonades obtained through a strainer lined with 4 layers of gauze (each one separately).

8. Serve these aromatic and sweet-sour drinks, putting a few ice cubes in glasses. If you want, you can decorate them with mint sprigs and lemon slices!

Doing the same, you can prepare lemonade with tarragon.

Although the preparation is easy and only a few ingredients are needed, the result is formidable. Lemonades are useful and will lift your mood right away! With their help even the most burning summers are full of joy!


Lemonade with strawberries and mint

It's getting hotter outside, a sign that summer is coming to an end. So in hot weather, we need proper hydration. It is said that we should drink 2 liters of water a day. Not during the summer but in general.

Unfortunately, I don't drink much water. It seems to me that the water has no "taste". As if he should have! But I found a solution to hydrate myself better at least now, during the summer: lemonade!

I made lemonade before, I also put recipes on the blog (see here, here or here) but it didn't get into my habit. Unfortunately. But, after I rediscovered the lemonade when I was in Bucharest, once I returned home I started to prepare a big carafe of this soft drink for the whole family every day.

And to be honest, I argued in myself because only laziness prevented me from making lemonade every day. Well, lemons and fruits in summer are plentiful. I have a food processor, like this one here, which has been lying uselessly in the kitchen for years. I don't use it to its true capacity, unfortunately.

I also have a mini shredder and foot mixer that can be used to make fruit purees. I have a lot of appliances to make my work in the kitchen easier and I, for convenience, use them only rarely.

It would be more correct to "use" them rarely. In the past. Because I decided to give up this bad habit and put them to work. I started with a lemonade. And, to be attractive for the little one, I used different fruits in combination with lemon.

But I only photographed one, the one with strawberries. You can, for example, use other fruits instead of strawberries. I have tried combinations of strawberries with apricots or peaches. But I think it works even with watermelon. A lemonade is very easy to make and you don't need much for it.


Mint lemonade

From the first lemon, cut 3 slices and keep them. The rest is squeezed.

Lemon juice is put in a 1 liter carafe.

Add 3-4 tablespoons of honey, or more if you want it to be sweeter. Add water and stir until all the honey has dissolved.

The mint leaves are broken into small pieces and added over the lemonade.

Preserved lemon slices can also be added now.

Serve with a few ice cubes.

How to make lemonade with strawberry, mint and basil:

Wash the basil and mint, shake off the water drops. Separate the leaves of the plant from the stems and place them in the blender bowl.

Remove the green tails from the washed strawberries. If the fruit is large, cut into 2 parts, then add to the bowl of the blender, over the basil and mint. To make lemonade, you do not need to choose the most beautiful strawberries - a lightly crushed one is also suitable here, because in the end we will continue to turn them into puree. But in any case, care must be taken not to spoil rotten, rotten or unripe specimens.

Turn on the blender and grind the contents of the bowl. It is not necessary to obtain a perfect uniformity - it is good if there are basil or mint stains.

Transfer the strawberry-basil-mint puree to a heat-resistant bowl, then pour a liter of boiling water.

Add sugar to the hot liquid and stir. The dosage depends on the natural sweetness of the fruit and how sweet you want the lemonade to be. For a moderate sweetness and a refreshing taste, 4 tablespoons is enough.

Squeeze the juice from half a lemon using a juicer - we need 2-3 tablespoons. Set aside the citrus juice and add the lemon peel to the hot drink. Cover the bowl with a lid and allow the liquid to cool completely.

Strain the cooled drink through a sieve twice. Add lemon juice to the strained mixture.

Before serving, refrigerate the strawberry lemonade for 2-3 hours. To make the drink more attractive in appearance, throw in a few slices of strawberries and a few fresh basil leaves. Add ice cubes, if desired, to cool the liquid even further.
