Peasant pie appetizer

For the dough: put cold margarine on the grater, mix together with a little flour, yeast, sugar, borscht and salt. Mix, topping with flour and knead well, I need 450 g of flour with all kneaded. The dough should be good to spread, but fluffy, not hard. Let it cool for half an hour.

Meanwhile, prepare the filling: mix the grated cheese with the cream and eggs. Cut the ham into small pieces and the sausage into slices. The green onion leaves are washed and finely chopped.

Divide the dough into two pieces: one will be the base, the other the lid.

Spread the first dough in a thin sheet on the table sprinkled with flour. Transfer to a pan greased with margarine and lined with flour. Sprinkle breadcrumbs, which will absorb moisture and so that the dough does not remain raw when baked. Pour in the cheese mixture, sprinkle with the ham and sausage and green onions.

The other half of the dough is spread on a sheet and cut into thin strips, which are taken two by two and twisted. Decorate the pie in this way. Roses can also be made from the remaining dough.

Grease the pie with the yolk and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake over medium heat for about 30 minutes or until browned.
